We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our busy team.
The Position
As a Site Engineer you will form part of an experienced team, working alongside site management to ensure projects are completed on programme and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Develop construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings/documents
- Oversee and manage construction projects and engineering processes
- Analyse and offer technical advice to construction designs
- Examine and calculate construction/project costs
- Supervise team members and prepare work schedules
- Coordinate with Contractors and Suppliers about construction materials and project contracts
- Ensure all construction activities comply with the industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulations
- Document detailed and accurate construction records
- Ensure construction project completion on time and within the assigned budget
- Communicate the project progress status with the Site Project Manager
- Assess any discrepancies or potential risks to the project
- Resolve any technical and developmental issues
Job Specification
- Previous site experience of a minimum of 5 years on a broad range of projects.
- A thorough knowledge of foundation types, RC structures, blockwork, steel frames, drainage and service installations.
- Experience with all types of surveying equipment
- A minimum qualification of HNC/HND or a Degree in a construction-based subject.
