We have a full-time, permanent position available for an experienced PSV Mechanic in Plymouth.
Main Purpose:
To maintain, inspect, service and repair vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards.
Main Tasks:
- To maintain, inspect, repair and test vehicles
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspections
- Complete periodic safety inspections to VOSA inspection manual standards
- To carry out fault diagnosis
- To carry out welding, fabrication and body repairs as required
- To complete associated paperwork to ensure that all statistics and legal information are produced
- To ensure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
- To maintain work areas in a safe and clean condition
- Ensure that all company timesheets are authorised on site and submitted accordingly
