LCV Technician wanted for a full-time, permanent role in Oxford- Rotating early and late shifts
Job Details
Areas of responsibility:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of LCV’s to VOSA standard
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
- Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts
- Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Ensure appropriate clockings are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses

Experience / skills:
- Technical qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ Qualified Technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
- Current driving license
Job Details
Rotating shift patterns:
Early Shift – 07.30 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 15.00 on Friday.
Late Shift – 13.30 to 22.00 Monday to Thursday and 21.00 on Friday.
Starting rate £20.00 per hour
Overtime paid at:
1.25 weekdays
1.50 weekends
