The WJF Technical Support Ltd Truck & Bus business is supporting our customers across the whole of the UK. If you have gaps in your labour force for any length of time, we’re here to help facilitate a solution to keep your planned maintenance on track. Over the last ten years, WJF Technical Support has evolved into a main player in the automotive sector for the provision of skilled engineers on temporary contracts.
Our portfolio of customers has now grown to encompass a broad range of fleet challenges from our core bus & truck customers, to more bespoke areas within the transport sector including military, Fire & Rescue, NHS fleet, and many in the waste sector.
With the diverse challenges on offer to keep your fleet on the road, a skilled workforce is essential and some guarantee of competence can ease the decision to take a temporary solution. All our engineers are strictly vetted through our ongoing, and evolving recruitment process, from inward CV to interview, qualification check and reference check, as a minimum.
We hand pick the best people from the most experienced backgrounds and bring them through our processes to the point where a final medical check is complete and they’re ready for the first assignment.
From that point forwards, our engineers generally come with the flexible approach to give our customers what they need from the start, with a positive attitude and willingness to cover shifts and possibly extended hours when needed within the parameters of the Working Time Directive and Agency Workers Regulations.
In addition to general planned maintenance work, we can work with manufacturers on project and campaign work including managing parts and deadlines to completion, which can also mean working shift patterns and weekends to accommodate vehicle availability.
